I started a thread on a previous forum for this, and sometimes unearthed some interesting stuff. So feel free to post up odd/weird fun facts that others may not know.
So for example, most ginger cats are male.
The main theme music for the film Re-Animator is basically the Psycho theme music.

Like these threads.
Did you know the 1969 film The Battle of Britain, all the aircraft, flying and static, was officially the 35th biggest airforce in the world.
There were more blanks fired during the making of the film than live bullets fired during the actual 1940 battle.
Did you know that IF you could fold a piece of paper, regardless of size, 25 times it would mathematically reach the moon. (it can't be done, hence the IF).

No. It is physically impossible to fold a piece of paper in half 25 times, even if it was the size of an aircraft carrier. I've actually tried it years ago and you can only fold it in half 10-12 times. It is only a mathematical theory. Did you know the cricket term "out for a duck" came about because the zero looks like a duck's egg. The term was first coined in 1866 when the Prince of Wales was bowled out without a single run. A local newspaper wrote: "The Prince is walking back to the Royal Pavilion with a duck egg". The Jubilee Clip was designed in 1921 by Commander Lumley Robinson.

Has somebody measured the universe? And if so, how? Did they use one of those laser measuring devices?

Despite the fact that an infinite universe is unimaginable, I can’t really imagine there being boundaries to our universe.

So how can it be as thick as a piece of paper folded 103 times?
