It’s just a shame in situations like that that you can’t do anything at all discrete with the cables! Unless you drill big holes through the brickwork I suppose...

I am planning to chase the cables in later this year when I’ve purchsed my new tv.. I do agree it spoils it a little and do like to hide my cables. I was lucky with the atmos height speakers because the previous owner of the house put these in before it was all plastered! The hdmi cable to the tv is a chord active and it is really thick so I need to find a thinner cable to make all fit under the plaster. Then when 8k comes out, I’ll have to make another mess with plaster to swap cables..  |

Could you bury some reasonable sized conduit into the wall to future proof yourself? Yeah gunna try that, but the house is 1930s and the bricks are proper tough on these old houses. Might have to get the pro’s into do this job! I also want to add some sound proofing on the walls at the side of the chimney breast; no idea how and what I will use to do this job! |

Just ordered the Panasonic 802B OLED and UB820 BD player and arrives on Wednesday! Can’t wait and don’t think I’ve ever been so excited before when purchasing new kit!

Bought the TV from crampon & Moore for £2,995 and the BD player from RS at £399.. illl try and get them to price match! Cheers mate
